Game Preview: Canadiens hit the road to face the Tigers

Aurora, ON – The Toronto Jr A Canadiens are back in action as they head north on Highway 400 tonight to take on the Aurora Tigers at the Aurora CC. The puck drop is set for 7:30 PM EST.

 

HEAD TO HEAD

The Canadiens are placed seventh in the conference with a record of 9 – 9 – 0 – 2, while the Tigers are in eighth place with a record of 9 – 10 – 1 – 1. The Canadiens enter following a 5 – 1 loss to the Cobourg Cougars on Monday on the road, while the Tigers won their last contest last weekend over the Niagara Falls Canucks 6 – 3.

 

Tonight will mark the third of four meetings between these two clubs this season. The Canadiens took the first matchup in September 6 – 4 at Scotiabank Pond before the Tigers were victorious 4 – 2 in October at home. The final matchup of the season series will go on January 7th at Scotiabank Pond.

 

BUSY WEEKEND

The busy weekend kicks off on Friday as the Canadiens travel to Aurora to battle with the Tigers at the Aurora Community Centre. The puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.

 

Heading home on Saturday evening, the Canadiens will welcome the Stouffville Spirit, who are red hot right now and enter into the game with a record of 10 – 4 – 0 – 3 following a 2 – 0 shutout over the Wellington Dukes Thursday. The puck drop is set for 8:00 p.m.

 

Wrapping up the weekend, the Pickering Panthers will visit Scotiabank Pond. The Canadiens lead the season series 1 – 0 following a comeback win earlier this year. The puck drop is set for 7:15 p.m.
